Let’s take a look:

In the first column (the left-hand side of the page) is Disk Defragmentation, a useful feature that increases the efficiency of data retrieval on your hard drive and thereby speeds up your PC. Here, you can select the drive(s) you wish to defragment and click the ‘Defrag Selected Drives’ button to run the process.

If you are using Windows 10, click the Windows 10 Protector link at the bottom of the column to optimize your system.

In the second column (in the middle of the page), you can choose a mode to boost the performance of your PC according to the task you want to perform:

• There’s the Game Mode, which improves the FPS (Frames per Second) of your computer games, so you get to enjoy smoother gameplay.
• The Office Mode is for working with document and productivity apps.
• The Economy Mode saves your battery power.
• You can also choose the Custom Mode if you’d like to set your own preferences, just in case none of the other modes meet your needs.
• The Normal Mode lets you go back to default settings.

Customizing Optimize tool in Auslogics BoostSpeed

You can also customize each of these modes by clicking the gear icon beside the category header.

Just below the Mode switcher, you will find links to more optimization tools:

• Maintain Windows Features leads you to the Maintain tab where you can tune up your PC even further.
• Optimize Windows Tasks lets you stop unnecessary tasks and processes that run in the background and slow down your computer. This will optimize Windows 10 for gaming and for most other purposes.
• Optimize Startup Apps allows your system to boot faster by stopping certain apps from starting automatically when you turn on your PC.

In the third category (the right side of the page), you can see the statistics on how your system resources are being used. There are Memory, Processor, Auto Defrag, Disk Priority Manager, and Desktop Protection tabs in this section. These tools, when enabled, speed up your system in real time by optimizing resource usage which means to optimize Windows 10 for better performance. Click on each tab and enable the associated tool to ensure the best performance for any app you open on your PC.
